We’re Still Celebrating! | The Extraordinary Nyack/ATS Faculty and Staff

May 16, 2022

You needn’t look any further than at the faculty and staff of Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary to see the personification of servant leadership.

It’s not how much or how often these extraordinary men and women roll up their sleeves or how many things they’ve checked off a “to do” list. It’s the condition and motivation of their hearts behind their uncommon dedication to make things better than they found them.

At the annual Nyack/ATS year-end luncheon, pillars of the campus community were honored.

Each year one faculty member and one staff member is presented with the “Rick Santiago Commitment to Mission Award,” renamed in 2017 to honor the exemplary leadership of the late Rick Santiago, who served as director of database operations. The award encourages development and achievement in specific areas of strategic importance to Nyack College; provides an incentive for continued excellence through specific accomplishments that align with the institution’s core values and mission; and celebrates individual accomplishments that both reflect and contribute to Nyack’s core values.

The 2022 Rick Santiago Commitment to Mission Award recipients are individuals who embrace their calling to Nyack and go the extra mile for any task at hand. The commitment of two standout employees was celebrated.
