Social Work Faculty: BSW Program Coordinator

The School of Social Work at Alliance University is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated BSW Program Coordinator to start in September 2023.
Alliance University is dedicated to providing Christian higher education and serving a diverse student body in New York city and other major urban communities. Our New York City campus is situated in a state-of-the-art facility, offering breathtaking views of Battery Park and the Hudson River.
The mission of the School of Social Work is to prepare students for competent, just and compassionate service to diverse populations by integrating the social work knowledge, values and skills with their personal faith. With a rich history spanning over 20 years, our BSW program has established a strong foundation. In 2015, we launched the MSW program with two specializations: Clinical Practice and Leadership in Community and Organizational Practice. Both BSW and MSW programs are accredited by the CSWE.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, supervise and manage BSW Program activities, correspondence, and policies
- Develop and implement a plan to evaluate student progress through the program from recruitment to graduation.
- Teach 15 credits a year across the curriculum.
Position Requirements:
- MSW from CSWE accredited program (Ph.D preferred).
- A minimum of two years post-MSW practice experience.
- Proven skills in leadership, preferably as a BSW or MSW director or chair.
- Agreement with and willingness to abide by Alliance University’s doctrinal statement, community covenant, and general workplace standards.
- New York State Social Work licensure.
Rank and salary will depend on qualifications and experience. Salary range is $55,000 – $70,000 for 9-month position with excellent benefit package.
