The Alliance University School of Music is excited to share the stage with Grammy Award-winning Christian recording artist Maryanne J. George on Saturday, October 22 at 7:00 PM at the Salvation Army Greater New York Centennial Memorial Temple. The venue is located at 120 West 14th Street in New York City.
Maryanne George, a member of the Maverick City Music Collective, is a dynamic worship leader/songwriter/musician who is passionate about encountering the Lord through worship. Raised in Long Island, NY in a Christian home, she developed a love for music during her childhood. At her home church in Hicksville, NY, after serving as a choir member, she eventually became a worship director.
Today Maryanne lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, Jonathan. She serves as a worship leader at both Ozark Christian Tabernacle in West Plains, MO and West County Assembly of God in St. Louis, MO.
