Nyack College Recognized on U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Lists
September 13, 2021
Nyack College appears on several lists in the Regional Universities North category of the 2022 U.S. News & World Reports Best Colleges released today. The 596 total Regional Universities (245 public, 341 private and 10 for-profit) are ranked within four geographic areas: North, South, Midwest and West and are institutions that offer undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs.
Named to three web-exclusive lists, Nyack is #1 among regional schools with the most international undergraduate students (29%) who enrolled in fall 2020. Nyack ranks among the top 10 performers on the list for economic diversity (#9) and for ethnic diversity (tied for #10).
The Best Colleges “Social Mobility” list names Nyack among its top performers of 175 schools using a methodology that measures the number of Pell Grant recipients and first-generation degree earners. This distinction reflects Nyack’s commitment to providing access and opportunity to higher education for students from economically disadvantaged families.
The 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings can be viewed online prior to the release of the guidebook that will ship in early October and will be available in bookstores on Nov. 2.
