Nyack College and LEAD NYC Co-Sponsor Fellowship for Youth Pastors and Leaders

March 16, 2022

The Youth Pastors and Emerging Leaders Fellowship (YPELF) with host Vandalyn Kennedy will meet on Thursday, March 17 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EST) at Nyack College, 2 Washington Street, New York, NY. The roster of dynamic speakers includes Jessica Mitchell, Director of Online Programming at Alliance Theological Seminary. The event is co-sponsored by LEAD NYC and Nyack College.

Other speakers include Rev. Mark Atkinson of LEAD, NYC; Travis Deans of National Network Youth Ministries and Rev. John Ginnan of Youth Alive. Music will be provided by Ministers Gary and Anita Coach.

This first fellowship of 2022 will kick off with the theme, “Restoring Hope: Generation Now.” Jessica a former young adult pastor shares, “The purpose of YPELF is to foster valuable connections among our next generation leaders.” The evening will be an opportunity for collaboration, networking and encouragement.

Jessica defies the narrative that today’s generation is the “least churched and “disengaged with faith.” She says, “The goal for planting seeds of faith is well tilled because this generation is spiritually curious and committed to social justice.”
