Karen C. Goff (’01) ATS Alumna Named Oberlin VP & Dean of Students

Following a robust national search, Karen C. Goff, a 2001 alumna of the Alliance Theological Seminary M.Div. program was named vice president and dean of students at Oberlin College and Conservatory in Oberlin, OH. With the approval of the Oberlin College Board of Trustees Executive Committee, she will assume her role on September 20, 2021.

Previously, at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, she served in the same role providing leadership over several areas of the Division of Student Life including Athletics, the Gay Johnson McDougall Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion (named for Agnes Scott’s first African American student), the Gué Pardue Hudson Center for Leadership and Service, (named for retired Agnes Scott College dean of students for 35 years), the Center for Student Involvement, Religious and Spiritual Life, Residence Life and the Wellness Center.
