January 6, 2022
Frank Dalene, Nyack College Class of 1977 graduate, is the president and CEO of Telemark, Inc. and Bridgehampton Millwork, Inc. The award-winning luxury home builder is also the founder of Hamptons Green Alliance, Developer of ICEMAN® ((International Carbon Equivalent Mechanism Attributed to Neutrality) and founder of Carbon Factor, Inc., who continues his innovative advocacy for green building and sustainability.
Frank was recently the featured guest on ForbesBooksRadio and will host upcoming episodes of a podcast. He says, “We will be inviting major corporate leaders who’ve made the commitment to become carbon neutral and talk about how they plan to achieve the goal.”
A Nyack College representative inducted into the Commission of Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU) Alumni Hall of Distinction in 2010, Frank was named the Nyack College “Alumnus of the Year for Social Relevance” at Homecoming 2018. His new book, Decarbonize the World, is evidence of why Frank was the undisputable top candidate to receive this award from his alma mater. A champion of the green technology movement, he has been a keynote speaker on the subject at conferences internationally and has published articles and research on the construction industry.
Enjoy a free chapter of his book and you’ll understand why his overarching message is, “We all live on the same planet. We all breathe the same air. If we want to preserve the planet, this air, the time to act is now. And if we work together, we can, quite literally, save the world.”
Congratulations, Frank, for carrying on the Nyack legacy of service and for being a world-changer!
