Constance Diggs | Panelist on Race and Health Disparities Forum

The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) will host its 2022 Black History Month Virtual Festival on Saturday, February 5, 12 noon to 1:30 PM (EST). The festival program will be available on ASALH TV. This year’s theme is “Black Health and Wellness.”

Nyack/ATS Director of Academic Affairs Constance Diggs will be one of the featured panelists discussing “Race Health Disparities in African American Urban Communities.” Ms. Diggs, who also serves as Vice President of the ASALH Manhattan Branch, along with other distinguished educators and healthcare professionals, will examine how race has historically shaped accessibility to healthcare for African Americans in the United States.

This forum will be hosted by ASALH Manhattan Branch Executive Council member Ms. Zende Clark and moderated by Dr. Deirdre Foreman, ASALH Manhattan Branch President.
