August 19 | Chapel Service With Dr. David Emanuel Airs on WNYK 88.7 FM

August 5, 2021

A powerful word of testimony will be shared on Thursday, August 19 at 5:10 when Nyack Associate Professor Dr. David Emanuel will be the guest speaker at the virtual chapel held on Zoom (Meeting ID: 921 2613 1790; Passcode: 519449) Thursday, August 19 at 5:10 PM (EST).

Administrators, faculty, staff, students and alumni rallied together in prayer for Dr. Emanuel and his family when COVID-19 struck his family and became a personal crisis for him. In addition to battling the virus, he experienced multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-A) affecting vital organs. His recovery has been a source of joy for all who interceded.

Dr. Emanuel is a faculty member of Nyack’s College of Bible and Christian Ministry who teaches Old Testament and Hebrew courses at the College and Alliance Theological Seminary. He earned an M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of London, and later he left a successful career in computing and telecommunications to pursue his interest in Hebrew Bible.

After completing a second master’s degree in Bible and Ancient Near East, he earned a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament at the Hebrew University. While living in Israel, Dr. Emanuel served as an elder in a Messianic congregation. He has written numerous articles on Hebrew grammar for the BibleMesh project and provided the Hebrew audio recordings for the program.

This is a chapel not to be missed! It will encourage, inspire and glorify God and His mercy. Mark your calendar today and plan to log on for this final summer chapel on August 19. The service will also be broadcast on Nyack Warrior Radio at WNYK 88.7FM.
