Alliance University is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) www.msche.org.  Alliance University’s accreditation status is Non-Compliance Show Cause. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on March 9 was to issue show cause. MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

During the show cause status, Alliance University remains accredited and will continue to offer the high-quality education and services that characterize the institution. MSCHE has credited us with compliance on all but 1 standard and 2 requirements of affiliation, and has made positive comments about the quality of our curriculum and the care we provide our students.  The administration, faculty, and staff are working diligently to resolve the noted concerns, as well as progressing on the implementation of planned improvements.

The requested evidence will be provided to MSCHE and followed by a team visit. While there is no guarantee about the MSCHE response to the evidence, we remain optimistic about the outcome.  Alliance will continue to apprise the University community as new information becomes available.  Students who have questions about this matter should discuss this with their Deans and also refer to the msche.org website for further details.
